The two stores often share a sale price but list different regular prices for the same item, so we show both regulars where they differ. Sale prices are QFC and Fred Meyer card prices.

Fred Meyer has Kroger Creamy Peanut Butter and Kroger Peanut Butter Crunchy at $1.33 a jar through November 10, while Quality Food Center charges $2.49 for the same jars. If you can wait for the weekend, Fred Meyer's ad drops Kroger peanut butter to $0.89 with card from Saturday, October 24 to Monday, October 26, with a limit of 5.
American Beauty Penne Rigate is $1.00 at both stores, and Nature's Own Butterbread and Nature's Own Honey Wheat are $2.99 a loaf at both, all through October 27. For cereal, Fred Meyer is 50 cents cheaper than QFC on the same boxes: Fruity PEBBLES Gluten Free (11 oz), Honey Bunches of Oats Honey Roasted and Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds (12 oz each) are $2.99 there and $3.49 at QFC. At the same price, the 12 oz Honey Bunches boxes give you a little more cereal per dollar.

Last week's sales on Birds Eye Steamfresh frozen vegetables (such as Whole Green Beans, $1.67), Botan Calrose Rice (5 lb, $9.99) and Private Selection Ruby Rows cherry tomatoes ($3.33 at Fred Meyer) ended October 20. On October 21, Kroger listed the Birds Eye bags at $2.29 at Fred Meyer and $3.99 at QFC, the rice at $11.29 and $15.99, and the tomatoes at $5.99 at both stores.
